Belfast Friends of the Earth, in cooperation with Sustrans and the Northern Ireland Cycling Initiative have published a 2020 vision for Belfast, entitled “Belfast Cycle City”. It addresses the short-fallings in Belfast’s current cycle situation, compares cycle provision in Belfast with other UK and European cities, before outlining the benefits to the city if it were to become more cycle-orientated.
